He assured the victims of his continued commitment, promising an additional GH¢50,000 once reconstruction efforts commence.
“I don’t need recognition for this contribution; I just want to support the recovery efforts. Today, I am donating GH¢50,000 and 200 bags of cement. However, when work begins, I will return to donate another GH¢50,000 cedis, making it a total of GH¢100,000,” he announced.
Hon. Boamah also called for unity among the traders and urged the recipients of the funds to ensure that they are used for their intended purpose.
“I plead with you to continue the spirit of brotherhood and sisterhood you have shared as a family. To those receiving the money on behalf of the traders, I urge you to ensure the funds are used for the purpose for which they are donated,” he emphasized.
