As the New Patriotic Party (NPP) prepares for its parliamentary primaries on Saturday, January 27th, 2024, the National Chairman, Stephen Ayesu Ntim, has sent a goodwill message to all the aspirants, calling for a peaceful and respectful campaign.
In his message, Chairman Ntim praised the aspirants for their commitment to serving the nation through political leadership, and reminded them of the need to uphold the core values of the NPP, such as decorum, mutual respect, and non-violence.
He said, “Our party is built on principles, and it is crucial that our internal processes, such as the upcoming primaries, serve as evidence of our commitment to upholding established values of democracy.”
He also advised the aspirants to focus on the merits of their vision, ideas, and plans for delegates and constituents, and to avoid personal attacks and divisive rhetoric.

Chairman Ntim emphasized that the success of the party depends on the unity and cohesion of its members, and urged them to demonstrate to the nation that the NPP is a party that values respectful discourse, healthy competition, and democratic processes.

The National Chairman wished all aspirants the best in the upcoming parliamentary primaries, and expressed his hope that their campaigns would be marked by the dignity befitting the NPP.
