Member of Parliament for Akwapim South, Osei Bonsu Amoah, has dispelled claims that Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, the running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is arrogant and disrespectful.
He argues that such allegations are propagated by individuals who do not wish for the NPP government to retain power.
Speaking in an interview, OB Amoah stated that he has known Prempeh, also known as Napo, since their teenage years at Prempeh College.
He recalled that Napo was respectful and down-to-earth even as a student, a trait that has continued throughout his life. Amoah emphasized that Napo is not an arrogant person and is, in fact, brave, courageous, and very smart.

The decision was presented to President Akufo-Addo at a meeting at the Jubilee House, where the President offered his wise counsel and ultimately endorsed Dr. Bawumia’s choice from the Ashanti region the stronghold of the party.
Dr. Prempeh, a seasoned politician and medical doctor, and a royal from Manhyia Apagya fie has served in Parliament since 2009 and has held various ministerial positions, including Education and Energy.
