Zambia and Comoros shared the spoils in a hard-fought 0–0 draw in their Group A encounter at the Stade Mohamed V in Casablanca on December 26, 2025, as both sides missed the chance to strengthen their push for a place in the knockout stage of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025.

The match opened with intensity and tactical discipline from both teams, but clear scoring opportunities remained scarce. Zambia, who drew 1–1 with Mali in their opening game, tried to dictate possession and control the pace. However, they were repeatedly frustrated by a compact and disciplined Comoros backline that successfully shut down their attacking threats.

Comoros, still recovering from their 2–0 defeat to hosts Morocco in their first match, approached the fixture more cautiously. They relied on quick transitions and pressing in midfield but struggled to consistently test the Zambian goalkeeper despite a few promising forward movements. The first half ended without a breakthrough.

The pattern continued after the restart, with Zambia continuing to dominate possession but lacking penetration in the final third. Comoros, meanwhile, looked to strike through counters and set-piece situations, yet neither side could find the decisive finishing touch. Strong defensive organization and a lack of clinical execution meant the contest finished goalless.

The result keeps Group A wide open. While neither team gained a decisive advantage, the point could prove crucial heading into the final round of matches. Zambia will be aiming for a decisive victory in their next outing, while Comoros must secure their first tournament win to keep their AFCON 2025 hopes alive.
