“It is with profound gratitude, deep humility, and an unwavering sense of duty that I formally announce my intention to contest for the position of National First Vice Chairman of our great party, the New Patriotic Party,” he stated.
26 years of service
Nana B said his political journey has taken him from the grassroots to the highest levels of the party, giving him a deep understanding of the NPP’s values, structures and membership.
He explained that his decision is not motivated by personal ambition but by a desire to unite the party and position it for electoral victory.
“This is not a decision made in haste, nor a pursuit of title. It is a calling born out of twenty-six years of active, dedicated, and unbroken service to the party I love,” he said.
According to him, the NPP needs experienced leadership capable of rebuilding confidence within the party and preparing it to reclaim power from the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) in 2028.

He expressed confidence that unity and discipline would enable the party to regain power in the next general election.
“With unity of purpose and renewed determination, I am convinced beyond doubt that we can reposition our party for a decisive victory in 2028 and the years beyond,” he said.
Nana B appealed to party leaders, delegates and members to support his vision as a national first vice chairman, saying the NPP needs experienced and selfless leadership at this critical stage of its rebuilding process.
“The road ahead demands courage. It demands experience. And it demands leaders who are willing to fight, not for themselves, but for the cause. I humbly offer myself for that task.”
He asked for the prayers, guidance, and support of party faithful as the NPP prepares to elect new national executives.
