The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has officially invited renowned journalist and former Board Chairman of the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL), Paul Adom-Otchere, for questioning in connection with an ongoing high-stakes corruption investigation.
According to a letter dated 25th July 2025, the OSP has identified Adom-Otchere as a suspect in its probe into alleged corruption and corruption-related offences linked to a controversial revenue assurance audit contract between GACL and a private firm.
The letter directs Adom-Otchere to appear before investigators at the OSP’s South Ridge office on Thursday, 31st July 2025.
Adom-Otchere confirmed receiving an invitation and disclosed that his legal team has formally requested a rescheduled appearance on Monday, 4th August, due to prior court engagements in Kumasi, the Ashanti Regional capital.
Expressing disbelief over his involvement in the matter, Adom-Otchere questioned why he, as a former board chairman, is being singled out for scrutiny when the contract in question was executed by GACL’s management team, who remain available for questioning.
