The team will hold its first training session today, September 1, open to both media and fans. However, Tuesday’s session will be behind closed doors before the squad departs for N’Djamena later that evening.

Head coach Otto Addo has named a 24-man squad for the two matches, with Union Berlin left-back Derrick Arthur Köhn earning his first call-up. Key players, including Jordan Ayew, Antoine Semenyo, and Elisha Owusu, have already arrived in Accra.

After six matches, Ghana lead Group I with 15 points, three ahead of Comoros and five clear of Madagascar, as they chase a fifth World Cup appearance.
