Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City Accra has distanced itself from the upcoming Israeli Film Festival, denying claims that it is a sponsor of the event scheduled for 16–20 September 2025 at Silverbird Cinema, Accra Mall.

In a statement issued by the hotel’s management, Kempinski clarified that it had no role in sponsoring or supporting the festival, contrary to reports and promotional materials circulating ahead of the event.

“Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City Accra is not a sponsor of the Israeli Film Festival,” the statement stressed.

“The hotel has only recently become aware that its name and logo have been included on the event’s advertising and promotional materials. This information is inaccurate and was published without the hotel’s knowledge or authorization.”

The management further called on the Israeli Embassy and the organizers of the festival to correct the promotional materials immediately to avoid misleading the public.

“We respectfully request that the Israeli Embassy and all event organizers take immediate steps to correct the promotional materials to reflect the fact that Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City Accra is not a sponsor of this event,” the hotel said.
