The World College of Mayors (WCM) has honored Hon. Abdul Ganiyu Ibrahim, Municipal Chief Executive of East Ayawaso in Accra, Ghana, with its Distinguished Leadership Award in recognition of his exemplary service in urban governance and community development.
The award was conferred at a special ceremony in Los Angeles, where WCM officials highlighted Ibrahim’s commitment to sustainable urban development, inclusive partnerships, and innovative city management practices.
Presenting the award, Dr. Manohar Roy, Operations Director of WCM, praised the MCE’s achievements as a model of global leadership.
