The government’s nationwide recruitment exercise for internal security agencies officially kicks off Monday, November 17, 2025, with the Centralised Services E-Recruitment Portal (C-SERP) opening for applications at 12 noon.

The portal will remain active until Friday, December 19, 2025, giving aspiring candidates one month to submit applications for the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and Ghana Prisons Service.

The recruitment exercise was announced by Minister for the Interior Muntaka Mubarak via a Facebook post, emphasizing the need for applicants to purchase a voucher to access the portal.

Vouchers can be obtained through USSD code 71303# on all mobile networks or at any GCB Bank branch nationwide. Applicants must clearly specify the agency when purchasing their voucher to ensure their application is properly directed.

The C-SERP system was introduced to streamline recruitment, making the process transparent, efficient, and accessible to qualified Ghanaians. The government has reiterated its commitment to a clean and fair recruitment process, warning the public against fraudulent schemes.

Minister Mubarak stated: “The government of John Dramani Mahama, through the Ministry of the Interior, has released the details of the core requirements and required documents for the 2025/26 centralized e-recruitment process. Applicants are advised to read carefully and comply accordingly. The portal opens at 12 noon today.”

Qualified candidates are encouraged to complete their applications promptly to secure a chance to join Ghana’s internal security agencies.
