The conference was addressed by Rev. Stephen Wengam, General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, and Rev. Ernest Agyei, a retired senior pastor and special assistant to the General Superintendent.

Key topics discussed included The Impact of a Healthy Family Life on the Pastor’s Ministry, Mastering Critical Management Skills for Church Growth, Effective Church Branding, Groaning in Prayer for Church Growth, and Successful Succession and Transitions in Ministry, among others.

Rev. Wengam encouraged ministers to work diligently and strive to leave lasting legacies. He urged them to shun mediocrity, laziness, and corruption, stressing the importance of excellence in ministry.

On his part, Rev. Agyei advised pastors not to demonise retirement but to embrace it as a natural and necessary phase of life. He urged ministers to begin preparing for retirement from the very day they start pastoral work.
