The national leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is expected to hold a crucial meeting to deliberate on challenges that have emerged during the party’s ongoing nationwide membership registration exercise.
The development was disclosed by the party’s National Organiser, Henry Nana Boakye, popularly known as Nana B, in a Facebook post on Sunday, March 8.
According to him, the meeting—expected to be convened by the party’s national secretariat—will review concerns raised during the first week of the registration exercise and outline practical steps to address them.

Mr. Boakye revealed that he personally visited a registration centre at Buokrom Estate, D-Line in the Manhyia North Constituency to participate in and monitor the process.
The visit, he explained, formed part of efforts by party officials to assess the progress of the exercise on the ground and interact with members participating in the registration.
Following the initial phase of the exercise, several operational challenges have reportedly been identified at some registration centres.
In response, the national secretariat of the party is expected to meet to evaluate the concerns and implement measures aimed at ensuring the process proceeds smoothly.
The NPP leadership has assured members and prospective applicants that steps are being taken to improve the efficiency of the exercise and resolve emerging difficulties.
Party officials say the meeting will focus on identifying practical solutions to guarantee a seamless and transparent registration process for all members across the country.
The nationwide membership registration forms part of the party’s broader strategy to strengthen its grassroots base and expand its support ahead of future political activities.
