Boakye Kyeremateng Agyarko, a contender for the National Chairmanship of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has outlined four major priority areas he intends to focus on if elected to lead the party.
His agenda, he says, is centred on rebuilding structures, restoring discipline, and strengthening the party’s chances of victory in the 2028 general elections under the banner of party unity.
Mr. Agyarko stressed that his leadership would prioritise party unity as the foundation for all reforms, noting that internal cohesion is essential for electoral success.

He explained that the NPP must urgently address internal divisions and strengthen its organisational base if it hopes to present a formidable front in future elections.
Four Key Priority Areas
Outlining his vision, the former minister identified four core areas of focus:
1. Strengthening Party Unity and Reconciliation
He pledged to promote reconciliation among party members and ensure lasting party unity across all levels of the organisation.
2. Improving Welfare of Members and Executives
Mr. Agyarko said party executives and grassroots members must be properly supported and motivated to enhance commitment and effectiveness.
3. Enhancing Resource Mobilisation and Distribution
He proposed a more transparent and efficient system for raising and distributing resources within the party to support campaigns and organisational activities.
4. Upgrading Party Infrastructure
His plan includes establishing a modern national headquarters and strengthening constituency and regional offices to improve coordination and operational efficiency.
Mr. Agyarko emphasised that his vision is not only about internal reforms but also about securing electoral success in 2028.
He argued that strong party unity will be critical in ensuring the New Patriotic Party presents a united and disciplined front capable of winning national elections.
His campaign continues to gain attention within party structures, with several senior figures expressing support for his message of reform, discipline, and organisational renewal.
Party observers say his proposals are aimed at repositioning the NPP as a more structured and competitive political force ahead of the next electoral cycle.
Mr. Agyarko maintains that his leadership would focus on discipline, fairness, and inclusiveness, insisting that rebuilding party unity is the surest path to victory in 2028.
