It featured a three-hour non-stop prayer session led by Rev. Wengam, powerful preaching, renewal of marriage vows, and presentations to retired ministers and their spouses, as well as widows of deceased pastors and pastors’ wives.
Preaching on the theme “How To Transform Your Church Into A House of Prayer,” Rev. Wengam reminded the congregation that the temple is a sacred place of communion between God and His people.
He urged pastors to build vibrant prayer cultures in their churches and equip members to serve as intercessors and prayer warriors.
Lady Mrs. Monica Wengam, National President of the Ministers’ Wives Association, commended pastors and their spouses for their diligence and faithfulness in ministry.
She presented fabric to all pastors’ wives, while retirees, their spouses, and widows also received financial support and fabric gifts.
This gesture forms part of a personal welfare initiative by the General Superintendent and his wife to support the well-being of pastors and their families.
