All six nations have amassed four points, and results in Groups F and H have ensured that tally is now enough to guarantee a place among the tournament’s top eight third-placed teams.
The qualification scenario reflects the expanded 48-team FIFA World Cup format, where the top two teams from each of the 12 groups, together with the eight best third-placed sides, advance to the knockout phase.
Paraguay has already been paired with Germany in the Round of 32, while Egypt will face Australia. The opponents of Ghana, England, Portugal, and Senegal will be determined after the remaining group-stage fixtures conclude.
Ghana will now head into their final Group L match with qualification already secured, aiming to finish as high as possible in the standings to earn a more favourable knockout-stage draw.
