Ghanaian dance duo Afronita and Abigail have achieved an impressive third-place finish in the finale of the 2024 Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) show.
Their remarkable dance moves and compelling story captivated audiences throughout the competition, proudly raising the flag of Ghana and Africa on the global stage.
In the finals on Sunday, June 2, Afronita and Abigail delivered an electrifying performance adorned in bright kente, securing their spot in the top three out of ten finalists. Despite finishing third, this achievement marks a significant milestone for the duo on an international platform.
The talented dancers have garnered massive support from Ghanaians both at home and abroad, celebrating their success and representation on BGT. The ten finalists in this season included a diverse array of acts such as a choir, a magician, and a Japanese skipping group.
The competition’s top prize went to singer Sydnie Christmas, with Jack Rhodes taking second place, and Afronita and Abigail finishing third.
The esteemed judges of the ITV show, Simon Cowell, Bruno Tonioli, Alesha Dixon, and Amanda Holden, returned for the season finale alongside hosts Ant and Dec.
