Lawyer Martin Kpebu has underscored the urgency for Ghanaians to highlight the increasing levels of corruption within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.
He urged citizens to call upon President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to address these concerns.
In a recent television appearance, Kpebu alleged that every instance of corrupt practices ultimately leads to the desk of President Nana Akufo-Addo.

He cited prominent cases such as the infamous PDS scandal and the Zoomlion scandal exposed by investigative journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni.
The PDS scandal involved the controversial awarding of a major electricity concession.
“It is untenable for the President to distance himself from the numerous corrupt practices that have plagued his administration,” asserted Kpebu during the television interview.
Kpebu’s remarks coincide with a period of heightened public discourse in Ghana regarding concerns about corruption within the government.
The legal expert encouraged Ghanaians to demand transparency and accountability from their leaders.
“The PDS scandal, in particular, had significant implications for the energy sector, raising questions about the due diligence process and decision-making within the government,” Kpebu emphasized, shedding light on the potential consequences of corruption in critical sectors.
Similarly, the Zoomlion scandal, exposed by investigative journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni, brought attention to alleged corrupt practices within the waste management industry.
