Speaking during a nationwide appreciation tour, Dr. Dwamena, affectionately called Dr. China, honoured constituency executives with citations for their dedication and support to the National Treasury between 2022 and 2026.

He described their contributions as instrumental in restoring financial discipline, improving accountability and strengthening the party’s internal revenue base.

The latest phase of the tour took place on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, with visits to several constituencies in the Eastern Region, where executives were recognised for their commitment to the party’s financial growth.

“You are an integral part of this success story, and I am truly grateful for your support,” he stated.

Praises grassroots leadership

The National Treasurer acknowledged that feedback and suggestions from constituency executives had played a significant role in improving the Treasury’s operations and enhancing the party’s financial systems.

He thanked executives for their dedication, sacrifice and continued commitment to the NPP, expressing confidence that sustained unity and prudent financial management would further strengthen the party ahead of future political activities.

The NPP financial turnaround, driven by improved revenue mobilisation, accountability and grassroots participation, remains one of the key achievements highlighted by Dr. Charles Dwamena during his nationwide appreciation tour.
