The National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) has summoned Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye, the Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), to assist in investigations over allegations he made against President John Dramani Mahama.
Bono Regional Commander Mr. Kwaku Afari signed a letter indicating that the NIB’s Director of Investigations had instructed the NPP Bono chair to appear before him on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Kawukudu in the Greater Accra Region.
The meeting’s purpose is to aid in the bureau’s probe into claims Abronye made during an interview on Movement in the Morning, a political talk show on Movement TV hosted by Kwaku Dawuro.
During the interview, Abronye accused President Mahama of hoarding GH¢550 million, allegedly meant for dismissed appointees at the Jubilee House.
He further alleged corruption in the recruitment and revocation processes within the administration.
