The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Elections Committee has announced that balloting for all qualified national and regional election candidates will take place on Friday, June 13, 2025. The process will determine the placement of candidates’ names on the ballot paper ahead of the much-anticipated GJA National and Regional Elections scheduled for Monday, June 30, 2025.

According to a statement signed by the Chairman of the GJA Elections Committee, Mr. Peter Martey Agbeko, the balloting will be conducted at the Ghana International Press Centre in Accra, starting promptly at 1:00 PM. Respective regional venues will be communicated to candidates directly by the Elections Assistants overseeing the regions.

“This important process ensures fairness and transparency in the run-up to the GJA elections,” the statement emphasized, urging all candidates to be present and punctual to help guarantee a smooth and credible electoral process.
The Elections Committee also provided contact information for regional election officers who will oversee the process across the various regions of the country. These officers will coordinate local arrangements and support candidates throughout the electoral process.
